Overview

At Optus, I worked within the Enterprise Learning and Capability team designing digital learning experiences, internal communication content, and SharePoint platforms that supported thousands of employees across the organisation.

My work focused on translating complex organisational knowledge into clear, engaging digital experiences that supported leadership development, capability programs, and internal culture initiatives.

My Role

As a Digital Content and Design Specialist within the Enterprise Learning and Capability team, I designed digital learning experiences, internal platforms, and visual communication supporting large-scale employee learning initiatives.

Responsibilities included:

  • Learning experience design for enterprise capability programs

  • SharePoint platform design and development

  • Multimedia learning content including animation and visual explainers

  • Visual communication for leadership and culture initiatives

  • Collaboration with learning consultants, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.

Approach

My approach combined instructional design principles with visual storytelling and digital design. Projects typically involved working closely with subject matter experts, learning consultants, and stakeholders to translate complex material into clear and engaging digital content.

Enterprise Learning Platforms

Designed and built modern SharePoint sites supporting enterprise learning programs and internal capability initiatives. These platforms improved navigation, access to learning resources, and the overall user experience for employees.

Digital Learning Content

Created multimedia assets including animations, visual explainers, and digital modules designed to simplify complex topics and improve engagement.

Visual Storytelling for Leadership Programs

Designed visual communication and learning assets to support leadership development programs, using illustration, motion graphics, and visual storytelling to improve clarity and engagement.

Outcomes

The work improved the accessibility and engagement of enterprise learning content and internal platforms. By applying design thinking to learning materials and internal digital spaces, the projects helped employees navigate and engage with capability programs more effectively.
